STORY
The story of the Krškodabra adventure is written in the picture book Krškodabra School Of Witchcraft and it's about four friends who are learning and training to become wizards. But on the very first day of school, they encounter a great challenge, as their school has been hit by a 300 year-old curse. Adam, Jurij, Veronika, and Val embark on an adventure to break the curse of Krškodabra and bring back the witchcraft school and the wizard teachers.
Krškodabra is the Seventh Path on the Fairy-Tale Adventure Trail across Slovenia combines forest adventures for children aged 6 to 12. However, there are plenty of interesting things for adventurers of all ages, connected to the history of Krško and the scholars who lived there (Bohorič, Dalmatin, Valvasor...), as well as with the energy and fascinating nature of the area.
EXPERIENCE
Krškodabra takes us to the Witchcraft school, where various trials await. Krškodabra has nine grades, each covering a different witchcraft skill and element. Along the way, children are accompanied by Wizard teachers who teach them magical skills and knowledge. We set off on the journey with the Booklet and Magic wand, and along the way, there are experiential points that will surprise and delight you. At these points, children solve wizarding tasks, earn a magic badge for each grade of the witchcraft school, learn new spells, discover their magic power, and much more unusual things. For mastering the witchcraft knowledge, they receive the Krškodabra Diploma at the end.
The story of Krškodabra Witchcraft School was created at a time of pandemics when the world suddenly became different. The legend of the school, struck by the curse of invisibility, is a story about remote learning. It's a tale of teachers guiding pupils through new paths into the unknown. Krškodabra is a story of good spirits and good energy!

In the Krško City Museum or in the Fontana Pizzeria in the old town center of Krško, visitors can buy a Magic booklet (7 EUR), which enables a complete experience of the route, and you will also receive a magic wand. The trail is 4,000 meters long, well-maintained, undemanding, and well-marked. Along the way, you'll ascend 151 meters in elevation. Families should plan around 3 hours for the journey, though exploring the wizarding secrets at the experiential points and enjoying the adventure can easily extend into a full-day excursion in Posavje.
