DISCOVER SLOVENIAN OUTDOOR FAMILY ADVENTURE TRAILS!
Slovenia boasts an ever-expanding network of outdoor family adventure trails, bringing children and their families closer to nature, culture and local curiosities through stories and unique experiences.
The trails take a few hours to complete and are designed for families and groups of children accompanied by adults who are looking to spend time in nature, learn about new places and their curiosities in a child-friendly manner.
Goblin-seekers are fearless explorers of the world of goblins and other fairytale creatures. Children will need a notebook and a pencil for their adventure and will be greeted with a goblintastic reward at the finish line for having successfully tackled the mission.
We also organize guided hikes, musical fairy tales, and workshops, for which prior reservation of a place on our website is required.
BOOKS AND ADVENTURES
We offer a wide selection of comic strips, fairytale picture books as well as outdoor adventures with a focus on history and heritage.
Children set out on an important, yet fun mission on every trail, where they must look for hidden messages and goblin symbols to break their spell while also helping the animals in the forest.
WHO IS ŠKRATELJC?
Škrateljc – Institute for Culture, Education and Sport was founded by Uroš Grilc and Nina Peče Grilc in May 2015 to promote participation in culture across various age groups, to encourage activities in nature and to initiate product development for creative tourism.
To this end, the institute carries out different activities, such as book publishing, family outdoor adventure trails and other programs that merge creativity with cultural heritage, tradition and healthy living in an innovative way.
